I am celebrating my cat’s 20th birthday today.I honestly don’t know if I’d be able to say if Serenity wasn’t her primary vet.My cat was diagnosed with diabetes at the beginning of the year in 2020. She was 15 and the world had just shut down but the promise was, ‘I’ll do my best to give you the best life I can. I promise.’ Everything felt like a constant uphill battle and both my pet and I were dealing with so much stress. We left our local vet clinic and switched to St. Francis, back when they were 24/7 (and specifically for that reason). One of the main things I had found so frustrating with every vet I had worked with was they didn’t know her. It felt like the moment they stepped in the room was the first time they looked at her chart. They’d be looking right at her chart and ask how ‘he’ was doing. Even when I made sure to schedule appointments with the same vet, she felt like a number. BG curves were the worst because I had to leave her for 12 hours and I didn’t feel like I had anyone caring about her. Sure, maybe there was a kind vet tech loving on the animals. It wasn’t enough. My pet was starting to decline and I wanted to change the experience. I did a little research and learned about mobile vets, did a lot more research and landed on Serenity. We’ve had something like 60+ appointments with Serenity at this point. In addition to diabetes, we’ve added hypothyroidism and lung tumors to the growing list of ailments. She’s also pretty efficient at growing bacteria in her bladder. But I’m celebrating her 20th birthday.Working with Serenity has allowed me the ability to honor the promise I made five years ago. Working with Dr. Scanlan and Dr. Maguire has been a blessing. Not only do they know her, I am pretty sure they love her almost as much as I do. They really, really care about her and helping me do what is best for her. They have reached out to check in on her any time I have had an ER visit with her (bread maker for a bladder), bring her gifts for the holidays (you’ll love the holiday bandanas), and really explore all options available to her without ever allowing me to feel pressured or like I’m lacking information. They’ve even helped me navigate situations with a grumpy little beta fish I inherited (swim bladder. It is always swim bladder) and a wild squirrel that had lost his tail. While this milestone is absolutely amazing, I know it is likely the last birthday I’ll celebrate with my beloved tiny best friend. Things have started to get a little difficult, but Serenity has been there for me, guiding me on the next steps, how to track quality of life, and making sure I have all the resources I need. I know when the time comes, they’ll continue to do what is best for my pet and will help my pet cross the rainbow bridge with dignity, love, peace, and a promise kept.I can’t recommend Serenity enough. They really care about what they do and the patients they care for. I want what is best for my pet and I know that Serenity was the right decision for us.They even sent her a birthday outfit to help us celebrate.Happy 20th birthday to my tiny best friend. Thank you Serenity for helping us reach this milestone.

We reached out to Serenity Veterinary Care about a year and a half ago when we moved to the area and needed a new vet for our four cats (now six). Two of our cats get extremely car-sick, even with medication, and another is fine with car rides but an absolute nightmare to catch and get into a carrier. After a Google search for mobile vets, we found Serenity—and we’ve never looked back. What truly sets Serenity apart is the extraordinary team of Dr. Scanlan, Dr. Maguire, Liz, and Porshia. Not only are they experts in veterinary care, but they also possess a rare gift of kindness, patience, and genuine compassion. They have an amazing ability to come into our home and immediately build trust with even the most nervous of cats—it’s like having a friend visit instead of a stressful vet appointment. Their understanding and approach make every visit feel calming and positive, no matter how anxious our cats might be.We’re constantly impressed by the team's vast knowledge and their willingness to share advice, helping us stay educated in providing the best care for our furbabies. It’s clear that they truly love what they do, and that passion shines through in everything they do. They treat our cats with the utmost care, always going above and beyond to ensure they’re comfortable and well-cared for.The team at Serenity Veterinary Care has earned our absolute trust and loyalty. We cannot recommend them enough to anyone looking for the best veterinary care from a team of amazing, caring people who truly put their hearts into their work.

I recently adopted a cat with anxiety issues and had Serenity Veterinary Care come do a health check, take blood for testing and give vaccinations. The experience was simply better than I imagined a veterinary visit could be. Our vet, her assistant and the office manager were all compassionate, professional and very knowledgeable. I'm very grateful to the friend who recommended that I call Serenity!

The women in your clinic are spectacular!! They just came out and put my very well loved dog to sleep. The kindness and compassion that my dog Lucy and I have been gifted with is exceptional. When you have to break your own heart, keeping your promise to your pet to handle whatever is necessary. I couldn't imagine a Vet Service that would be as kind as y'all have been to Lucy and I. You have my eternal gratitude ladies❤❤❤❤❤

Serenity Vet recently visited my home for acupuncture treatment for my big ol dog,Bear! I couldn't be more impressed! The entire process with the staff is warm and welcoming, making the experience comfortable for both pets and owners. The presentation itself is organized and calming, creating a perfect environment for healing. My dog, Bear has done well with first few acupuncture treatments ( more on the books). Dr. Scanlan is an incredibly knowledgeable and educated veterinarian. Dr.Scanlan is dedicated and all around truly amazing, displaying both exceptional skill and genuine care. Every visit is a testament to her commitment to providing the best possible care for your pets. I highly recommend Serenity Vet Mobile to anyone looking for top-notch veterinary acupuncture care.
